What does it take to make a baby blanket unique? OPTION CHOICES! At Baby Blanket Cafe, you "build" your own unique baby blanket using our "a la carte" ordering process. You start by choosing your fabric(s) and baby blanket size, and continue all the way through our custom embroidered baby blanket options. Finally, a place to shop for a unique, embroidered baby blanket where you're guaranteed to get exactly what you're looking for at a price that you control. Best of all.. all of our blankets are either hand-made by us in Wisconsin, USA or woven in the USA from American grown cotton!

BLANKET SIZING GUIDE:

Most of Baby Blanket Cafe's baby blanket styles are offered in several different sizes. Each unique baby blanket size has been designed by us with great attention to the intended use.

	Our security baby blanket..Large enough to cover a newborn in his car seat, yet small enough for a toddler to carry around without it dragging on the ground. (18" x 20")

	Our stroller baby blanket.. Slightly smaller than a typical crib blanket. Designed to cover baby in her stroller without a lot of extra bulk. (28" x 36")

	Our crib baby blanket.. Probably the most common size found in today's baby blanket market. Perfectly sized to wrap around an infant, and big enough to use into early toddler years. (30" x 40")

	Our toddler blanket.. Over-sized baby blanket perfect for older children (or an adult throw). Also a great size for baby's tummy time on the floor and large enough to cover baby's carrier or stroller in inclement weather. (40" x 45")

FABRIC AND COLOR GUIDE:

We understand that you want fabric and color choices when designing your custom baby blankets. However, we also understand that too many choices can be very overwhelming. Some of our fabric colors will be "stock" colors (always available), while others may be replaced with new colors as they are sold out. Check back often, as our selection will always be fresh! Here is an overview of the fabrics and colors that we currently offer:
(Note: Actual colors of fabrics may vary slightly depending on your monitor's settings)

Minky (aka Minkee) Fabric:
White, soft pink, soft blue, chocolate brown, red, light sage, pink camo, green camo

We use only the highest quality Minky fabric available. (Be aware: there are different grades of minky fabrics being used in the baby blanket market today.) Marshmallow Fluff Fabric: Off-White, Soft Pink, Soft Blue

The name says it all! So soft, fluffy and warm yet surprisingly light weight - the ultimate cuddle blanket! Does not pill and only gets softer with washings. Made from 100% Polyester.

Hand-Woven Cotton Fabric: White, Soft Pink, Soft Blue, Soft Mint

Flannel Stripes Fabric: Soft Pink Stripe, Soft Blue Stripe (Pair with many minky colors, above)

Nothing is more classic for a baby blanket than cozy, 100% cotton flannel. We offer to you a high-quality, soft, non-pilling flannel on one side, paired with luxurious minky on the other. Princess Fleur Fabric:

This fabric is as soft as a cotton ball next to baby's skin. Pink and cream "fleur" pattern on the front, solid cream on the back. We scour the market for beautiful, one-of-a-kind fabrics that you may only find offered at Baby Blanket Caf! Our vintage fabrics are cotton/polyester blends, already pre-softened with gentle use. Our limited-edition fabrics are 100% cotton, designer fabrics purchased in very small quantities. Pair with our bunny-soft minkee fabric to create baby's very own "designer" blanket. CREATE
(Please note: all of our designer and vintage fabrics have very limited quantities and change often. We do our best to keep our website updated, but if you happen to choose a fabric that is no longer available, you will be notified promptly)

SATIN BINDING COLOR OPTIONS:

Most of our blanket styles offer your choice of four soft pastel colors to edge your baby blanket with. However, some styles may offer fewer choices if we feel that certain colors do not compliment the fabric color(s) available. Our satin binding is made from 100% polyester and available in the following colors: Ivory, soft blue, white and soft pink Be sure to read: Why don't you offer satin or satin-backed baby blankets?

CORNER EMBROIDERY FONT OPTIONS:

All of our baby blanket styles can be embroidered with baby's name(s).
Most blanket styles will have the name(s) embroidered in the lower right hand corner:

Make your baby blanket gift stand out from the rest with our "around the edge" deluxe personalization!

You choose up to 3 words that we will repeat-embroider around the satin edge of baby's blanket. They will be repeated around the blanket, separated by our choice of symbol. In addition to repeating baby's name, some additional ideas may be:

. Sweet dreams _____________ (baby's name)
. Jesus loves _______________ (baby's name)
. Grandma's sweet angel
You get the idea! You compose it - we'll embroider it.

GIFT WRAP OPTIONS:

We have carefully considered how to attractively package our unique baby blankets while keeping the health of our children's future environment in mind! In lieu of plastic bags and coated, non-recycled gift boxes, we have chosen natural paper products.

STANDARD GIFT WRAP OPTION:

We will roll the blanket and tuck it inside our signature brown paper "bread bag", top the bag with a custom label that describes the thoughtful choices that were made in creating their special blanket and tie the whole package up with a sheer ribbon. A gift card will be attached if a message is provided.

DELUXE GIFT BOXING OPTION:

Our deluxe gift box is made from natural paperboard that uses 25-30% less fiber than other box materials (that's 25-30% fewer trees!!) Also, these boxes are made from SFI (Sustainable Forestry Initiative) lumber, harvested observing environmentally sensitive practices.
Our all-brown bakery boxes have been left natural, making them better for the environment because strong solvents are not used to bleach the pulp.
We tie up our signature "bakery" box with a sheer ribbon and attach a gift card if a message is provided. Beautiful and a better choice for the environment!
